The Department of Employment and Economic Development, following inquiries and requests for information from workers who may be part of the Regional Employment Councils for the 2023 financial year, REPORTS:
1.- That the Cieza City Council does not manage the selection process for Regional Councils, nor does it decide the criteria or the scoring thereof. It merely submits the report on the work to be carried out and organizes its execution.
2.- To date, we have no official information on how the SEF will proceed with the selection of personnel.
3.- There has been no official publication by the SEF in any media for the submission of applications by workers, nor are the criteria for accessing the 2023 Regional Councils known.
4.- There are no provisional or definitive lists with the workers' scores.
5.- The regular annual meeting of the County Council, attended by social partners and mayors and/or councilors, has not been convened.
6.- At this time, all we have is an email from the SEPE (Spanish State Employment Service) with the amount of funds we are entitled to for 2023, and a deadline of May 23 for local governments to submit reports on the work to be done.
7. A meeting was held on May 18 at 9:30 a.m. between the SEPE and the various city councils to monitor the submission of the reports and to inform us that the SEF will publish "instructions" with the requirements and evaluation criteria for County Council workers.
"From this department, we will make public any official information that arrives and is of interest to the people of Cieza."
