The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has conducted an investigation in Cieza to investigate the theft of an industrial kitchen, valued at more than 2,066 euros, which has resulted in the arrest of one person for theft.

The investigation began when the owners of a recently opened catering establishment in the new Cieza shopping center reported the theft of an industrial kitchen, valued at more than 2,600 euros, to the Civil Guard.

The theft occurred when the large appliance was at the restaurant's entrance, awaiting installation.

The cameras recorded the events

Civil Guard investigators collected images from the shopping center's surveillance cameras. In one of the recordings, the Civil Guard observed a van parked in the rear area, used for loading and unloading at the hospitality establishments.

Two people got out of the vehicle, went to where the kitchen was located, picked it up, and put it in the van.

To date, the Civil Guard has identified, located, and arrested one of the suspects, although the investigation remains open until the facts are fully clarified.
