The Mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, accompanied by the Councilors for Agriculture, Manuel Martínez, and Commerce, Gertrudis Juliá, attended the Fruit Attraction fair in Madrid, supporting the Ciezan agricultural sector and highlighting the products of this region, especially the PGI Melocotón de Cieza.

Rubio was also attended by national representative Miriam Guardiola and Santiago Martínez Gabaldón, also from Cieza, president of the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (FECOAM).

It was emphasized that "these types of meetings are essential for promoting innovation, sustainability, and the growth of our agriculture. We will continue supporting our farmers and cooperatives to consolidate Cieza and the Region of Murcia as leaders on the national and international scene."

The Cieza representative visited the stands of agricultural cooperatives, "an opportunity to highlight the work of our agricultural sector, an economic engine and hallmark of Cieza, and to continue opening doors to new opportunities for agricultural promotion and development."
