Once again this year, the Cieza La Linterna Mágika Film Club is organizing the Magic Film Week. This new edition will be held from Tuesday, August 15th to Monday, August 21st, on the terrace of the Atalaya Club.
This year, the cultural event, Magical Cinema Week, will pay tribute to Paco Rabal, a top-class actor, and Asunción Balaguer, the oldest Spanish actress.
The magic lantern will be lit on Tuesday the 15th with guests (family and friends) of Paco and Asunción attending a ceremony recognizing their professional careers.
Screenings, exhibitions, interventions, and musical performances are planned for a night of movies under the stars.
We look forward to learning the program for these outdoor summer evenings featuring traditionally good films.

Paco and Asunción star in this edition's lineup, along with other irreplaceable losses such as writer Almudena Grandes, filmmaker Carlos Saura, and their colleague Francisco Saorín.
Among the olive groves of Cieza, which are dying, waiting for the chainsaw that will condemn them to death, small resistance groups are emerging, protesting the authoritarian drift in many places.
