Manuela Fernández will perform the Christmas Proclamation of Verónica

Manuela, a teacher with a degree in teaching, worked as a teacher in several schools, but her work is recognized for its connection to special education, as a Therapeutic Pedagogy teacher.

For 22 years she worked at the Pedro Rodríguez school in Cieza, where she was the principal for seven years, until last year, when she retired.

Her teaching work and social concerns made her deeply sensitive to and concerned about the most vulnerable students, promoting projects and programs that showcased the immense potential of education in this area, a field in which her school is a pioneer.

Beyond his profession, he founded the ASPASORD Association for families of people with hearing disabilities and from 2015 to 2019 he served as councilor for Education, Historical Heritage, and Museums, where he championed the "Cieza, Educating City" project and promoted the Cieza Children's Network and the Network of Educational Centers.

The Christmas Proclamation organized by the Cieza Brotherhood of Verónica will take place on Sunday, December 17, at the Parish of San Joaquín, followed by the traditional concert by the Choir and Orchestra of the Cieza Music School.
