"Municipal management is bringing a service that Cieza residents had to use to travel to neighboring municipalities like Abarán," the Economy Councilor emphasized. The municipal facilities used for the former Urban Planning Department, which became vacant after the opening of the former courthouse on Esquina del Convento, will house the liquidation office.
The Department of Finance has issued a press release announcing the return of this service to Cieza. It is located in the municipal offices in Pérez Cervera (formerly the Urban Planning Department).
"The Murcia Region's Liquidation Office is opening its doors in our city. Therefore, interested residents of Cieza will no longer have to travel to other towns, saving them time and hassle," Councilor Antonio Ignacio said.
Furthermore, it is also reported that, as a result of the agreement signed between the Cieza City Council and the Autonomous Community, and once the transition phase is complete, a department of the Murcia Region Tax Agency will also be located in the same municipal offices mentioned above, which will be responsible for processing tax collection files in the "executive" phase. The implementation of this agreement aims to offer better service to citizens and achieve greater efficiency in the use of public resources.
The council's office reports on the benefits of restoring Cieza to its former glory, even though it has lost services. "Cieza, the regional capital and the largest city in the north of the region, didn't have services lost due to poor management. From today on, we can congratulate ourselves on achieving a better Cieza, guaranteeing more and better services to its citizens," the councilor states.
