Carlos Sánchez Mato (Madrid), Juan José Cánovas (Totana) and Francisco Saorín (Cieza) will participate in the round table in which they will discuss the so-called "TOWN COUNCILS OF CHANGE", the improvement that they have meant for citizens, the difference in the management they have carried out in relation to the PP governments, the difficulties they have encountered, the promotion of citizen participation and good political and social management. economically, without forgetting those issues that have been left halfway.
At the roundtable, three speakers represented different realities, but with a common thread: good municipal management:
Carlos Sánchez Mato, representing the country's largest municipality (Councilor for Economy and Finance of the Madrid City Council between 2015 and 2017), a city governed by Ahora Madrid, a coalition government, with occasional support from the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party).
Juan José Cánovas (Totana, Mayor of the town in the first two years of this term), first deputy mayor of a council governed by a pact between the PSOE and IU, by which the mayor's office is shared during the term.
Francisco Saorín (Cieza, First Deputy Mayor, Councilor for Planning, Urban Management, Public Works, Municipal Works, Housing, Infrastructure and Urban Services) was the protagonist of the agreement between all the left-wing forces with municipal representation in Cieza (PSOE, IU-Verdes and Cieza Puede).
A debate will take place next Tuesday, May 8th, at 8:00 p.m. at the Atalaya-Ateneo Club in Cieza.
Organized by IU-Verdes Cieza, as part of the "Spring Debates" series, this event is expected to be of interest to the people of Cieza.
