On May 28, elections will be held to determine the municipal corporation that will govern Cieza for the next four years.
For this reason, and continuing the practice of the two previous elections, the Forum for Thought and Dialogue is organizing a roundtable discussion in which the eight political groups running for City Council can offer their proposals to the citizens of our town in the various areas of action that make up municipal life this coming Monday, May 8th, at 8:00 p.m. in the Capitol Theater. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
The format of the roundtable discussion was designed, based on previous experiences, so that residents could learn firsthand what the main lines of action Cieza's political parties would pursue if they won the municipal government. The mayoral candidates from each party will be responsible for presenting their proposals in the four major thematic areas they will propose. This is not, therefore, a debate between politicians, but rather an opportunity to open a direct channel between candidates and voters through which information can flow, allowing voters to make better and more informed choices in the upcoming elections.
