This Thursday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m., a roundtable discussion entitled "Safeguarding and Custody of the Elm Groves in the Municipality of Cieza" will be held in the courtyard of the Atalaya Club.

The roundtable participants will discuss the current state of the elms in Cieza and propose possible strategies and protocols for their conservation over time. Despite everything, these trees have been silent witnesses to the 20th century in Cieza, defying the fate imposed on them by suffering the latest afflictions.

Participants:

  • Antonio Felix Carrillo, PhD in Biology, expert in unique trees.
  • Pedro López, specialist in gardening and monumental tree treatments.
  • Francisco Saorín, Councilor for Urban Planning, Public Works and Services of the Cieza City Council.
