26th Cieza Drumming Festival
The Cieza Association 'La Convocatoria' will, as is traditional, announce the beginning of Lent with the beating of its drums and the sound of its bass drums. It will be this coming Wednesday, February 14th, Wednesday of Ash, at 9:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor of #Cieza.
Drummers from other parts of the Murcia region, including Torres de Cotillas and Jumilla, will accompany the drums and bass drums in “La Rompida” and the subsequent parade through the old town of Cieza, along the following route: Plaza Mayor, El Cid, Los Pinos, Calle Larga, Buitragos, San Sebastián, Mesones, Calle Angostos, Cánovas del Castillo, and the parade will conclude in the Plaza Mayor.
