The State Meteorological Agency reports that temperatures on Sunday and especially Monday will be extreme, reaching above the threshold.
For this reason, Aemet indicates that in Vega del Segura, the Risk Level (yellow) will be activated on Sunday and the Extreme Level (red) on Monday.
In its bulletin, it reports that temperatures will reach 39°C in the shade on Sunday the 24th, while on Monday the 25th they will reach 45°C.
On both days, the announcements will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.
The Department of Health's General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions has declared the yellow level of the Preventive Action Plan against the Effects of Heat, as the maximum and minimum temperatures considered thresholds are expected to be exceeded next Monday.
Therefore, the Emergency Coordination Center of the Region of Murcia reports the aforementioned forecast and advises taking measures to avoid the harmful effects of high temperatures on people's health.
