The CDU Ciezaps youth team lost 2-3 to Cieza FS last Saturday in a hard-fought match. The Ciezaps boys put up a strong fight against the league leaders and could even have taken all three points. They started strong, even going up 2-0, but bad luck, some questionable refereeing decisions, and the physical play of the opposing team ultimately prevented the Cieza team from securing the victory. However, this defeat feels like a victory, as Ciezaps made things very difficult for a team of talented players. The hard work and dedication of this new squad was evident, showcasing their commitment and desire to improve. Congratulations, boys, you are the best! We will continue working together to improve.
Ciezaps, with intellectual disabilities, played the first game of the second round against the 2nd ranked Cartagena, with the great victory of the pupils of Juan Marín (Kiki) 2-1, maintaining absolute leadership, being one victory away from being proclaimed champions of the 8 football league, in the regional championship, organized by the Murcia Football Federation.
