The Women's Department continues to fight the scourge of gender-based violence every day, especially during these days of lockdown. The fight against violence remains vital during the state of emergency, which is why the public is informed of the various campaigns being carried out to help any woman experiencing gender-based violence.
On the one hand, through the Official College of Pharmacists of the Region of Murcia, as other colleges in other autonomous communities have been doing, the 'Mascarilla 19' campaign is being developed, with which women who are suffering from gender-based violence in their homes during these times of home confinement, or who find themselves in a situation of risk or danger to their physical, psychological and/or sexual integrity both in their family environment and on the street, can request help at the 14 pharmacies that are evenly distributed throughout Cieza using the code 'Mascarilla 19'.
On the other hand, there is the campaign: #SiLaOyesLlama#, which the Department of Women, Equality, LGBTI, Families and Social Policy of the Region of Murcia - coordinated by the General Directorate of Women and Gender Diversity - has launched to continue helping women who suffer violence.
The initiative aims to remind residents of their important role in the face of home confinement and urges citizens to call the emergency telephone numbers provided at the slightest sign of abuse in nearby homes.
