A small industrial fire broke out in Cieza at noon this Saturday.

 

At 12:54 p.m., calls to 1-1-2 reported a fire in an aluminum warehouse in Cieza. They also reported that the fire was causing a large column of black smoke.

 

The fire broke out in Camino de la Fuente at an aluminum factory, where firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium and the Civil Guard quickly responded.

 

The fire involved chemicals used in the factory (lacquers, solvents, paints) and was quickly brought under control by firefighters.

The fire has only caused material damage.
