Cieza-born actor Paco Marín will deliver the opening speech for this year's 2017 fair. It will be this coming Tuesday, August 15, at the main entrance of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption.
The proclamation will be given upon the arrival of the image of the patron saint at around 9:30 p.m. after its transfer in the procession, which will begin at 8:30 p.m. from the Hermitage of San Bartolomé to the Assumption along the traditional route.
