Next Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m., at the Padre Salmerón Municipal Library in Cieza, the Tres Columnas publishing house will present the novel "Cruzar el Río" by Rosa Campos from Cieza, a fictional story based on the work of the author.given in today's society, which takes place in the city of Segisa (Cieza).

The cover of this novel is illustrated by a painting by José Víctor Villalba, a native of Cieza, created especially for the novel. Bartolomé Marcos wrote the prologue, from which we take the following words: "...Amalia, a woman from Segisana (still young), who faces her situation as a single mother with courage and fortitude, who takes courage in life to end up daring to cross the river, without being swept away by the current, floating away with a second chance that she knows how to earn for herself and her family."

"Crossing the River" is a peaceful, unpretentious novel, yet one with an intense human drama and a village flavor. (…) developed with uncomplicated language, in which it's not uncommon to stumble upon colloquialisms and native expressions that give it juiciness, expressiveness, topicality, appeal, and beauty.
