The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Carlos Semitiel, welcomed the boys' youth, cadet, and junior teams of the Voleadores Club. The three teams in attendance have performed brilliantly, both athletically and personally, with the cadet team recently participating in the Spanish Championship. It's also worth noting that numerous players from the club will participate alongside the Murcia National Team in the Spanish Regional Championship.
During the reception, the mayor congratulated "players, coaches, and managers for their sporting achievements," a recognition that will be announced next fall during the Sports Gala. In his words, "Thank you for the joy you've given us this season. My gratitude for being who you are and for doing what you do."
For his part, the municipal sports official emphasized the "importance" of this sport in the municipality and praised the work of the award-winning Cieza club. In his speech, Semitiel offered words of support for both the coaches and the president of Voleadores, who also attended the event.
