The "Carmen Pérez Costa" reading club and the "Atenea" Women's Association of Cieza are pleased to to invite you to the theatrical performance "Champions, oé, oé / Lysistrata" brought to us by Avesco Teatro-Grupo, from the 'Sagrado Corazón' Neighborhood Association of Molina de Segura, under the direction of Santa Cruz García Piqueras.
The performance will take place this Friday, April 5, at 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Atalaya-Ateneo Club in the town of Cieza. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
The staging revolves around the fact that "Spain is playing in the World Cup final. Half the country is moved by football, ignoring the daily problems at home. All of this is interspersed with a rehearsal of Lysistrata, Aristophanes' comedy premiered in 411 BC, perhaps the first feminist play in history."
