1-1-2 received a call reporting the accident at 8:36 p.m. They requested medical assistance for a climber (a 17-year-old male) who had fallen approximately 3 meters near the Virgen del Buen Suceso shrine on the aforementioned mountain.
A local police patrol and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with personnel from the 061 Emergency and Health Management Department were dispatched to the scene. After verifying the difficulty of accessing the victim's location, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium responded, rescued him, and brought him to the aid of paramedics.
After being stabilized, he was transferred to the Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza with injuries pending evaluation.
