The Social Welfare Center hosted the Local Roundtable against Gender Violence's working session this Friday.
This panel promotes coordination among various local professionals involved in the fight against gender-based violence, specifically educational centers, healthcare centers, law enforcement agencies, social services, and the specialized care center for women victims of gender-based violence (CAVI).
At this meeting, work was done on updating existing protocols against gender-based violence at the local level, as well as presenting the various activities organized around November 25th. Furthermore, proposals for improvements and actions from the various groups and sectors working with women victims of gender-based violence were collected.
The proposals have been specified in the need to organize various training courses aimed at all the areas represented.
