The Madrid writer Roberto Gallego presents his new book of poems 'Never Way' this Friday the 15th from June at 7 p.m. in the Siyâsa Museum in Cieza.
After passing through Barcelona, Malaga, and Madrid, she arrives in Cieza to present this great book. Valencia will then be chosen on June 30th to conclude this round of presentations.
Biography.
Roberto Gallego, (1984 Madrid) is a prolific contemporary writer with a degree in Hispanic Philology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. From the outset, he has always displayed an extraordinary ability to unite with total simplicity the particular with the general, modernism with the classical, endowing his works with a masterful didacticism and an essential motivation for the positive development of human beings, as demonstrated by his compositions supporting children with autism, Amibola, and the rise of pediatric medicine in Brain Drain.
His creative diversity has led him to be named one of the great writers of the next decade, highlighting his many poems, songs, stories and newspaper articles: I Have No Strength to Surrender (Urbe Salvaje newspaper, Chile), 1984 (the year Gallego was born and Cortázar died, Paréntesis newspaper, Mexico).
In March 2014, she released the book of poems Manual de maletas y sueños (Manual of Suitcases and Dreams), published by the publishing house Ediciones Oblicuas, based in Barcelona (Spain) and Miami (United States), giving various presentations in bookstores and auditoriums throughout the country, combining theater, music, and literature.
In June 2016, in collaboration with the NGO Save the Children, he published the novel El jardinero de estrellas (The Star Gardener), (currently in its 3rd edition), a work that premiered at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and which has led him to perform throughout Spain and in Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he has a large following.
In October, he was selected to participate in the Second International Poetry Festival held in Madrid, contributing one of his poems to the published anthology and giving various lectures and talks at the Complutense University of Madrid.
In March 2017, he wrote and directed the project Viral, being the original author of all the songs on the CD, as well as the script, direction, and performance of the musical theater piece.
2018 is the year chosen for her new creation: a collection of poems with an intimate staging. Via Jamás.
