Cieza City Council's Councilor for Festivities, Amparo Belmonte, presented the program of activities for Carnival 2024 today.
The parades begin on Saturday afternoon with a group parade, in which around 800 people will participate, followed by a costume contest that will award more than 6,000 euros in prizes.
At night, from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., there's a youth party in Plaza de España with DJ José Pascual Oliver.
On Sunday, there's a party for the little ones in Plaza de España starting at 4 p.m. with the Gelatina group and their show "The Toy Factory." There will be sing-alongs. Gelatina will be back on Monday at the same time and place with Show Landia and sing-alongs.
Finally, on Reventón Tuesday, starting at 6 p.m. in Plaza de España, there will be a big hot chocolate party with fried cakes. Before that, starting at 4 p.m., there will be a costume contest and musical entertainment with €300 in prizes.
