The event was led by the acting mayor, Pascual Lucas, the acting councilor for libraries, María Ramos, and representatives from the education sector in Cieza, in front of a packed venue.

The Cieza City Council's Library Department held the presentation of the educational booklets "Chito and Chita" this Tuesday in the cloister of the Padre Salmerón Municipal Library.

The booklets are intended to help Ciezan schoolchildren learn about local heritage and culture.

During the presentation ceremony, the contents of the booklets were reported.

Ramos noted that "days like today make all the time invested worthwhile. 'Chito y Chita' is a series of educational booklets that aim to bring our heritage closer to children. We've been working on this for a long time, but work isn't work when you're passionate about what you're doing. The result has exceeded our expectations."

He also expressed his gratitude to "my colleagues in government for pushing and supporting this project. And above all, thanks to the entire Chito and Chita team: Pedro Salinas, Marta García Molina, Olga Gómez Egea, Mari Carmen Camacho, and Manuel Toledo Rodríguez for their immense generosity, their time, and their friendship."
