A total of seven earthquakes were recorded in the northwest of the Region of Murcia on Monday, up to 9:00 a.m.

The first of these, which occurred at 1:46 a.m., had a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale and was centered south of Caravaca de la Cruz. Its epicenter was 4 kilometers deep and was felt throughout much of the region, with intensity III being felt in Cieza and the Ricote Valley.

Six new tremors were subsequently recorded until 9:00 a.m., with four epicenters in Caravaca de la Cruz and two in Cehegín, measuring between 1.5 and 2.1 on the Richter scale.

None of the movements have caused personal or material damage.
