Emergency medical services treated and transported two men to hospital after they were injured when two trucks collided on the A-30 highway at km 102 in the municipality of Cieza.
1-1-2 received calls reporting an accident involving two trucks, indicating that one of the occupants was injured and trapped inside the cab. Civil Guard patrols, ambulances with medical personnel from the Emergency and Emergency Management Department of the Murcia Health Service, and firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium (CEIS) were dispatched to the scene.
After being rescued by firefighters, paramedics stabilized and transported the injured. One, a 28-year-old man, was taken to the Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza with apparently non-life-threatening injuries. The other, a 45-year-old man, was taken to the Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia.
