Municipal sources from Cieza City Council report that the Cieza People's University has scheduled, as in previous years, a Carnival Dressmaking Workshop to help anyone interested in making their own Carnival costumes.
The workshop begins on January 15, 2024, and will run through February 9. Those interested in participating must register in classroom #2 of the Universidad Popular, located on the second floor of the Centro Cultural Géneros de Punto, during the workshop's scheduled time. The number of places is limited and is awarded in strict order of registration. Once the group's quota is filled, the remaining applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
The Workshop schedule will be:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
