This Friday marks the start of the 2nd Esparto Workshop, which will take place at the Cieza Esparto Museum and Interpretation Center (Club Atalaya- Ateneo de la Villa, c/ Pablo Iglesias) on June 16, 17, and 18.
The basketry and filet workshop will be taught by master craftsman Antonio J. Salmerón and coordinated by Pilar Aroca, anthropologist and designer.
Registration can be done at the Esparto Museum or by calling 651 457 296 (Pilar) or 968 76 74 15 (Club). A contribution of 10 euros per person has been set for this activity, and the schedule is as follows:
Friday 16th: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday 17th: 9:30am to 1pm and 5pm to 8pm.
Sunday 18th: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
