Last night, Thursday, February 22nd, at 9:00 p.m., the first and only Nazarene gathering of this Lent was held in the Boardroom of the "Casa de los Santos." The main topics discussed were: the evident evolution that has taken place within the management teams of the Brotherhoods and Sisterhoods that make up our Holy Week.
The panel consisted of: Mari Cruz Villa, youth spokesperson of the Board from 2006 to 2011, being (together with Manuela Guardiola) the first woman to hold a management position on the "Junta Permanente de Procesiones"; Lola Martínez, Treasurer of the Brotherhood of the Prayer of the Garden and the Holy Sepulchre A few years ago, a person who has experienced this obvious evolution within a management team; Ana Belén Fernández, director of the Brotherhood of the Roman Third of the Holy Sepulchre, a woman who began her career as a director within the Brotherhood of Santa Veronica.
In addition to María José Real, a young woman who began her steps as a board member when he was only eighteen years old, being besides, the secretary of the Brotherhood of the Descent of Christ and Kiss of JudasThe person in charge of moderating the discussion was Rocío León, director of the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Consolation and tireless collaborator of Holy Week.
They, along with many others, have experienced firsthand the evident and fortunate evolution that women have undergone in leadership positions in the Brotherhoods and in the Board of Passion Brotherhoods of Cieza itself.
Anderas, commissioners, Nazarenes, presidents... have been, are, and will be an indispensable and fundamental part of the whole that is Holy Week in Cieza.
