For this reason, the Brotherhood of Souls of Cieza celebrates a three-day period of prayer in honor of its patron, Jesus opening the gates of hell, 'Christ of Souls'.

On Thursday and Friday, October 30th and 31st, at 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday, November 1st, at 11:00 a.m., Masses will be celebrated at the Parish of San José Obrero, the church in Cieza where the Christ of Souls is present for most of the year. These celebrations will be officiated by Father Emmanuel Bezerra.

From these dates until November 22, non-perishable food items will be collected and can be deposited at the feet of Christ. These items will then be given to the most needy or to local entities that are dedicated to helping people with difficulties.

On November 1st, at 1 p.m., a candle offering will be made at the altarpiece of Christ of the Souls, located behind the chapel in the Cieza cemetery. Anyone can place a candle there as a sign of reverence for the saints and the deceased. A prayer and a short homily will be given, also led by Emmanuel Bezerra.

The Brotherhood of Souls invites all the people of Cieza to participate in these events.
