12:00 PM - Medical personnel were unable to save the life of a 69-year-old motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident that occurred between km 103 and 104 of the A-30 Albacete towards Murcia, in the municipality of Cieza.
Several calls to the 1-1-2 Murcia Region hotline reported the accident near Exit 104, reporting several cars and motorcycles on the shoulder and a person lying on the ground. An ambulance and a Mobile Unit from the 061 Emergency Medical Service were dispatched to the scene. The Civil Guard was also notified.
Once medical personnel stabilized the injured motorcyclist, a 69-year-old man, he was rushed to the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Clinical Hospital. His death was later confirmed during treatment. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently unknown.
