VIII Feria de las Tradiciones de Cieza, organiza Asociación Cultural "El Caracol"

Following the official presentation of the program for the 8th Popular Traditions Fair, which will be held from November 2 to 5 in Cieza, we're sharing information on all the upcoming activities.

Thursday, November 2nd. Talk "Between Tolosantos and Ánimas: Customs and Tales from the Cartagena Countryside"

The program will begin this Thursday with a talk titled "Between Tolosantos and Ánimas. Customs and Tales from the Cartagena Countryside" by Juan Ortega Mad.rid, and presented by the friends of the Fray Pasqual Salmerón Center for Historical Studies. The conference, which is part of the Oral Tradition Conference, will take place at 8:30 p.m. in the cultural hall of the Cajamurcia Foundation.

Friday, November 3rd. II Cieza Caracol Folk

Trovo Cuadrillero Solidario with Pedro Cabrera Puche and Emilio Del Carmelo Tomás Loba and the great master Manuel Luna., a performance that will take place at the The 2nd Caracol Folk Festival is part of the events scheduled for the 8th Cieza Traditions Fair (Murcia Region), organized by the Cultural Association "El Caracol."

All proceeds will go to the Piedras Vivas Soup Kitchen, with admission being a €5 donation.

Saturday, November 4th. Gastronomy Show

Starting at 2:00 p.m., in the warehouses in front of the Mariano Rojas Municipal Sports Center, there will be a gastronomic exhibition featuring typical dishes and desserts from Cieza.

Sunday, November 5th. Folklore Show, Parades and Performances

At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, there will be a vintage bicycle exhibition hosted by the Las Galgas de Yecla Association and Friends of the Traditions of Santomera in the Plaza de España. There will also be a parade featuring the groups participating in the Folklore Show.

Starting at 12:00 noon, the following groups: Cuadrilla del Pelibayo (Albacete), Sonadors de Crevillente (Alicante), Grupo Etnográfico Vergel de Murcia, Cuadrilla de Torreagüera (Murcia), and the rondalla from the Cieza Senior Citizens Day Center will perform in the Plaza de España.
