Various events comprise the 15th Republican and Historical Memory Week. Various events will be held from April 8 to 13 at the Atalaya Ateneo Club in the town of Cieza.
April 8th: Opening of the exhibition "Antonio Machado: 80 Years of Exile and Absence," by Antonio Balsalobre and the Atenea Women's Association.
April 9th: 'Poets for the Republic', poetry recital by the La Sierpe y el Laud Literature Group.
April 10, 'Education and Culture in the Second Republic,' lecture by Pedro Guerrero.
April 11 Dramatized reading of The Red Coat by Patxi Zubizarreta presented by the Cieza Social History Collective.
April 12 screening of the documentary that won the 2019 Goya Award in its category, "The Silence of Others" by Almudena Carracedo and Robert Bahar.
April 13, TrasCieza/Contra el olvido presents issue 7 of its magazine and closes the week with a toast to the Republic at a meeting of Friends of the Republican Cause, accompanied musically on the accordion by Juan Hernández.
All activities will begin at 8:00 p.m.
