The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, and the councilor for culture, María Turpín, have presented the Capitol Theater's fall program, which will run through October, November, and December.

Yllana, Rafael Álvarez 'El Brujo', the famous Murcian actor Ginés García Millán, and the return of 'Don Juan Tenorio' to the Cieza Coliseum during the month of the dead are the main themes of the last cultural season of the year.

The program kicks off on Friday, October 6th with "The Journey of the Fierce Monster," directed by and starring Rafael Álvarez "El Brujo." (9 p.m. 15 euros for the stalls, 12 euros for the amphitheater).

Family theater will arrive on October 14th with "The Adventures of Bruno and Estela" by Pupaclown, directed and performed by Luisma Soriano. (6 p.m., €5 general admission).

The Yllana and Töthem Company will be arriving on the Cieza stage on the 20th with "Trash!", a comedy, percussion, and recycling show. (9 p.m. 15 euros stalls, 12 euros amphitheater).

Jorge Fullana directs a piece by Juan Montoro Lara about "Pedro Cano. Painting the Journey." This is the film Nacho Vilar Producciones is bringing to the public on October 27th about the painterly bard born in Blanca. (9 p.m. 10 euros stalls, 7 euros amphitheater).

José Zorrilla's classic, "Don Juan Tenorio," returns to the Cieza theater in November, specifically on the 3rd, after several years of absence. The Friends of Tenorio, directed by Elvira Pineda, will take to the stage on Pablo Iglesias Street to recreate the most traditional plays of the month of the dead. (9 p.m. 10 euros stalls, 8 euros amphitheater).

Ciezan music also arrives this fall

Music will be a staple this fall season, with Ciezan bands taking center stage. The Municipal Band will hold the 25th Festival of Music Bands on November 18th (9 p.m. Free admission until capacity is reached).

The monologue format will also be featured this fall on November 19th with "It's My Word Against Mine" by Luis Piedrahita. (9 p.m., €18 general admission).

Andalusian pop is the musical offering Antoñito Molina brings on the 25th with the "El club de los soladores" tour. (9 p.m., €15 general).

The final month of the year will open on its first day with "Amistad," a playful dramatic tale starring Daniel Albaladejo, Ginés García Millán, and José Luis García Pérez, directed by the latter from a text by Juan Mayorga. (9 p.m. 15 euros stalls, 12 euros amphitheater).

More music with "A Night on Broadway" by the Broadway Wind Orchestra on December 2, conducted by Alejandro Molina and featuring Andrea Fernández, José Antonio Moreno, Gloria García, and Manuel Moreno. (9 p.m., €10 general admission).

Founded in 2013, the JOCI-Joven Orquesta de Cieza (Youth Orchestra of Cieza) will present significant works from its symphonic repertoire on December 9th, marking its 10th anniversary. Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, conducted by José Ríos-López. (20 hours; €5 general admission).

Magic and family theater for children

There will also be no shortage of magic this fall at the Capitoline Forum. A show for all audiences, part of the family theater section, with the magic gala scheduled for December 10th (6 p.m., €5 general admission).

The season's event, packed with shows, will close on the 16th with the tribute "500 noches. Sabina en las venas" (500 nights. Sabina in the veins), featuring the voice of Darío Luis and the guitar of Antonio Hernández "Turro." (8 p.m., 15 euros in advance, 6 p.m. on the day of the concert).

María Turpín has indicated that, before the Christmas program, Cieza will host a cultural festival for a weekend, which will be announced soon and will include music, gastronomy, and other recreational and traditional aspects.

The councilor expressed the hope that this "varied and high-quality program will be to the liking of the people of Cieza and that they will thoroughly enjoy it."

The mayor, for his part, emphasized that the fall season at the Capitol "includes a cultural offering for everyone and open to all audiences."

On the other hand, Tomás Rubio pointed out that season tickets continue and that there are also new features regarding discounts. They continue for young people under 25, and now they will be added to those who hold the European Youth Card, whose age range is over 25. He clarified that young people who do not have one and wish to obtain one can apply at the Youth Council's Office. Another new feature is that people with disabilities and their companions will also receive discounts. Furthermore, a certain number of free tickets will be distributed among secondary school students to promote and encourage attendance at artistic and cultural events.
