The Councilor for Services, Francisco Saorín, emphasized that, "through these reports, repairs have been made to various sidewalks, such as those in the Jover and Federico García Lorca neighborhoods, repairs and improvements to the tree pit in the San José Obrero neighborhood, and the repair of various pedestrian crossings to adapt them to accessibility regulations."
He also explained that "the pending or ongoing work includes replacing tree pits on Avenida Juan XXIII, repairing granite slabs on various streets in the old town, and repairing subsidence in cobblestones on streets adjacent to the Paseo."
“I would like to thank the bricklayers for the good work they do, as we believe we have never seen so many bricklayers working in unison on the streets of Cieza, with the resulting benefits they bring. Hence the importance of continuing to count on this type of report from the county councils in the coming years. We hope that, in the years to come, we can expand the number of bricklayers hired to continue with our goal: improving the streets of our town,” Saorín concluded.
